My 3 week company

Hi my name is Marcus Hill,

I'm 23 years old from Cardiff. I got a little frustrated at work in december so took 2 weeks off and was watching dragons den. It gave me a drive and I wanted to quit work so i sat down and devised a company that will make £20-34 proffit per sale, and I'll never have to put a penny of my own cash in... ever.

I've stumbled upon an SEO insiders secret tool that will put my web site to the number 1 spot on the google search within a week.

I'm joining this forum as a way of gaining business advice as i'm receiving quite a bit of attention already and have never run my own company before now.

What kind of things should I be have set up (legal people and so on) and how do i sort out my staffs tax for their wages?

Unfortunately i think you're business idea of a tool that gets anyone to the #1 spot in Google is, to say the least rather foolish! Its sounds that either the tool uses some form of link building method or blackhat technique or you have to buy the software yourself for a fee and then sell it on to other people for a fee and commission - a bit like this silly 'how to make thousands of $$$ and i'll show you how'. Needless to say your SEO secret tool definately doesn't sound like a viable business and more accurate would definately never work... pop art and warhol designs though sounds like a better path to take. Perhaps sticking to what you know would be best...?

is a little over the top considering the website isn't very good, the samples are (to say the least) rather shoddy and the intended (and better) effect can be achieved with just a couple of clicks of the mouse using the likes of Photoshop.

Traffic from SEs for '08 = nil
Sales from either for ''08 = nil

Anyway, I met someone from the Federation of Small Businesses, mainly for networking events however, I feel you should take a look at what they do in terms of services they offer and support they provide to self employed people and small business owners. Check out their website (search for Federation of Small Businesses on google - havent had enough threads to post website) and contact someone in your area who you can meet. Not only will you meet more people to put your business out there but theres legal support, health and safety, accountants, tax, employment law etc.... basicly everything to do with setting up and running a structured company

I can only say that best of luck with your business because you submit your SEO secret tool but sorry to say you may buy any software form any ware and sail them other person but they can also find that software from other way or some ware ales that is a very risky for your business if it happen then you will gate loss on your business. A suggestion I can give you can try sort term online accounting systems witch had a trial periods.
