Just wondering if anyone has jumped from UK and opened up their business in Ireland?

Not closing the UK company, but we opened another in Ireland to handle EU clients/suppliers for VAT simplicity and certain regulatory stuff.

It is an option that I am considering, so will be listening to anything on this thread! It is on a list of options.

Hi Rob, so do you transfer products from the UK business to the Ireland business for subsequent sending out to EU customers?

Did you make the UK company the shareholder of the new Irish company? Did you have any problems getting an Irish VAT nmumber?
