Marketing
Marketing cookies are used to track visitors across websites. The intention is to display ads that are relevant and engaging for the individual user and thereby more valuable for publishers and third party advertisers.
If you were launching a website as a lead capture vehicle would you have a home page with 5000 words or 5 pages of 1000 words of content? I've noticed many 'squeeze pages' a single page site with masses of content rank extremly well
Firstly, it would depend on what form of marketing I was using to drive visitors to that page. If it were adwords, I might break it up. If it were banner ads via another network, I'd be less inclined to do so.
Secondly, the length of copy - and whether I'd break it up into multiple pages - would depend on what felt right. Fortunately, you can easily test different ways of doing it.
