Hi, Ive got some great mobile App ideas. Anyone in the business of App development ?

I dabble on the side. Have launched a game and have a couple of small app ideas. Have you checked your ideas don't exist already? and do they have a usp?

Hi,
Yes they are unique handy functionary things. Some with great potential (I think). I am only at the 'idea / concept stage. So I was wondering if there are companies which then take it further.

You need to have more than an idea to get companies to back you. maybe a detailed project of your app idea at least. check out kickstarter

How much money have you got?
How much of that is allocated for marketing?

I am still surprised the app market is as big as it is. I know it's all down to personal preference but the only app I use is my banking app.

Everything else I just use the browser on my phone.

I have been toying with the idea of developing an app, a sort of education/gaming app inspired by three young ipad savvy kids. Although it would be great to make a million from sales I wouldn't be to bothered if just a few kids played it and enjoyed it. But it seems the cost of developing an app and then getting it out isn't going to be cheap. So then to bring in revenue I guess it would be a pay to download the app or adds, either which don't really appeal to me on a kids game/edu app.

paid apps isn't the done thing that much now. Most make the game free and then have in app purchases.The biggest earners are those where you have to buy gems or coins to progress or buy items in the game.
