Bit of a random question but just in case someone knows- i am creating some promo leaflets in publisher 2007 and have created the artwork but ow want it bigger, when i change page size it just changes the page and leaves the fonts images etc small?

Does anyone know how to do it by any chance?

All you are doing is increasing the paper size, you aren't increasing the size of the elements on the page.

Still wouldn't be using publisher though. It's great for advetsing the school fete but pants for producing professional lead generating marketing material.

Yes I would like to hear what you should be using, sounds to me they are trying to talk down publisher to sell their services

Fisicx is completely right.

Doing advertising materials on the cheap is false economy. I often hear people moan that their leaflets didn't have the desired response, when infact they couldn't have expected any more.

Leaflets must be designed based on sound marketing principles, and must be designed properly. We use Illustrator and In- Design for our design projects.

At the end of the day you want good ROI on your advertising. If you design your leaflet and get £1k of work, its surely not as good as paying someone a couple of hundred quid, and getting £5K worth of work.

And no i'm not promoting our services either, we only deal with design for our Marketing clients, and dont sell our design skills seperately.;)

so what software would you recommend for me?
Photoshop elements is good, you can pick this up for a few pounds. Better still use a professional graphic artist/illustrator and copywriter. Designing a flyer/poster that actually works is a skilled process. It's no good just knocking up something that looks good, the colours, fonts, positioning, copy, images, calls to action and so on all contribute to the effectiveness of the leaflet/flyer. Spending a few bob may well double the success rate of the marketing making it very cost effective.
