Hey,

Hope you are doing well and staying safe!

I am working on an affiliate network which has a variety of merchants such as O2, Anglian Windows, Betfair, Tesco and other brands. I am manually adding the offers to the network, but find some are paused after about 15 days, as brands can do this. I currently have about 5 websites signed up to my network through word of mouth who will promote these brands.

Do you think it would be wise doing some paid marketing and engaging interest before i have all the merchants live on the network, i have 100 to add and got 20 at the moment? So starting this marketing now and continuing adding more merchants? My aim was to add all the merchants and then promote, but i wanted to hear your thoughts please?

Thank you for any help you can give. Take care.

How do you plan to market the website? Who are you targeting? What's your USP?

There are two sides to this.

Are you needing to have high-traffic sites before being accepted by many affiliates? If yes, then you need to market a product to get that traffic before you officially launch.

If you do not need to have high-traffic websites or content before being accepted then no, I would suggest building up the product and making it polished as possible before launching and advertising it, preferably getting feedback from whoever signed up to your network to make sure it runs according to plan and there are no bumps to sort out, before plumping down hard earned cash on an advertising campaign.
