Marketing/Advertising Specialist.

Hi,

I'm in need of a Marketing/Advertising expert. Basically we started some artwork for some local newspapers and were now wondering if its the right move or not.

I'm thinking we need some market research, I.e. the best place for a company tackling the business to business sector to advertise. The best newspapers, magazines or some other media etc.

We just had the idea of possibly advertising in the Metro newspaper since so many people shooting off to the office would pick these newspapers up. But then is it a newspaper people read or skim through? National newspapers vs local?

So many questions, what we need someone with experience and someone who can do the market research and tell us the facts. We can do the artwork in house we just research and experience.

Can anyone recommend?

If you're selling to businesses, what % of readers would even be prospects?

If it's a tiny percentage, then you've spent most of your money advertising to people who are useless to you.

Exactly... need someone with experience to tell us the best place to market. You never know, the metro might be a cracking places but at this points its just conjecture.

In fact the places we have looked into are based on what we think would be best. We need someone with experience to tell us the facts and show us the figures.

Hmm advertising through newpapers would be a good idea, however are your targets the type where they'd love to check out the newspaper daily ?

In relation to that, have you tried video marketing already ? In http://www.hitchtalktv.com/ we actually believe that having entertaining videos for advertisment is much better than just regulars texts. Great images, good music, and short messages through one video can get curious customers.

I have looked at your portfolio and to me they aren't videos.They are merely a collection of stills with text & graphics added and a backing track, so not a video in the sense that I understand a video to be.
This is what I class as a video, the one I had commissioned;

Which brings me onto my next question, why do you call yourselves "The Video Ad Specialists!" when your portfolio doesn't actually contain a video? S therefore you cannot be a specialist.

Have you produced any videos that involves cameras, directors and actors, on set or location? If so, please post links.

As you will have noticed, we offer two key video ad packages "Standard" & "Intermediate" along with a "Custom" package.

Our "Standard" package is designed to provide an effective advertisement in video format, in the shortest possible timeframe from just £89. As one might expect, this is our most popular package and therefore the only ones presently displayed in our portfolio.

Our "Intermediate" package provides the option of including video sequences as well as stills.
