Magento subscription module suggestions

I'm looking for suggestions for a subscriptions module for Magento. I'm currently using Aheadworks but have been advised this doesn't meet my needs.

The module needs to be able to create recurring subscriptions in PayPal using PayPal Hosted Payments to address PCI compliance. In Magento it needs to create the order. When the subscription re-occurs every year the payment needs to be automatically collected using the payment method. An order should not be created in Magento for the recurring subscription unless the payment is successfully collected. I want to offer the customer payment options of credit/debit card or PayPal to fund the subscription. If the user chooses debit/credit card the payment happens in PayPal using PayPal Hosted Payments.

I've been told that the Aheadworks module will do everything I have asked for apart from being able to offer debit/credit cards as a payment option which leaves me solely with PayPal as a funding option which looks a bit poor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is by far the best subscription service for Magento, a little more than a module but works very well, we have it in use on a large brand website.
