If you have the cash, you wouldn't be looking to use it for chauffeuring people, and so I don't think you do. And it has nothing to do with me wanting you to come to me for funding - in fact I wouldn't want the business because I know it would be pretty much impossible to get it placed. Again, hence my curiosity about the funding.

Even people who have the cash are doing the same, at the end of the day it's good to have extra cashflow for fuel, insurance and many other costs that comes with it.

Even if it's breakeven business , I'll be happy as it's paying for itself.

Not much space in a lambo for a large dress and if there is a chauffeur not sure where father would sit unless they are wedged in the tiny back seats.

Last dozen weddings I've been to, including a millionaire getting married, just one car for the wedding party at each one.
The car brings the bridesmaids, returns for bride and her father, then later takes bride and groom.

Usually a dozen or more able to give lifts to wedding party members who didn't get married that day. But party itself having just one car.
Quite a business in wedding cars and other wedding vehicles.

I can't see much business in that. You any idea how boring a car journey can be as a passenger?
You'd be spending 20 times the payment for spins in marketing.

Plenty of places that hire out passenger rides in supercars...you may find it boring but am sure plenty of others would enjoy it.

I don’t doubt that there are some people who will pay for this

How do you reach them?
Hw much are they willing to pay?

these critical questions can only be answered with detailed market research, not random opinions from a business forum

if you are buying the car anyway, trial and error might work. Otherwise market research will be your best business investment

A wealthy business person, for example, might pay to be chauffeur driven, but a Lamborghini is not comfortable, and you cannot sit in the back and make phone calls! It is a play thing hire, a show off hire. People will pay for the experience of driving it themselves, but wisely you are not going that route.

Get something that has 24 volts local like most Vans. Pop an inverter in for laptops/netbooks and USB for phones/tablets. Pull out the radio and use the antenna for a 3g/4g Wi-Fi router.

Awesome way to work on the Wi-Fi, while they are being chauffeured around town. Your passengers could work like they are on the train. Then again maybe limos have this service nowadays.

Yes such vehicles exist.
Once worked with a guy who purchased one from Mercedes about 18 years ago. Both lots of rear passengers could use the table setup.
I'd have said it was a car / van crossover. Could take 5 passengers with the table set up.

Do you know what these sort of companies are called? Or a name of a company offering this service?

I suppose crossovers have the Van 24 volts rather than the Car 12 volts to feed the 19-20V computer kit. As well as the nice roomy back.

You asked for best way not cheapest way.

Still if you have the time to track down and get a couple of thousand people from selected demographic living in the right area to answer the questions you set then yes can do it for free.

Not a great use of your time and after the first few weeks you may change your mind about spending so much time doing it.

I agree a bit but I also take what @Ian J has said very seriously too and the type of comment that he has posted makes one ask ones self " Am I actually any help or am I too dismissive /aggressive"

The reality is you can try to be of use and you can help others however some of the stupid questions that appear on here are just bait to wind people up without the OP realizing it often !
Myself I am feel that I mostly dealing with regulars that know their onions on here but you can get caught off guard and the red mist appears across the keyboard .

If you go back over the thread you will see that probably less than half offered sensible constructive advice as most just poo pooed the idea.

In your first response which I will admit was both sensible and constructive you asked the OP about funding to which he replied that funding was in place.

You then posted a further four times concerning the funding and each post got progressively less friendly

I would have to say I disagree with you Ian. I reckon I remained pretty friendly throughout until the 4th page of comments. Even when the OP became a bit unfriendly I clarified why I was asking so many questions about funding, and he backed down and agreed he had misunderstood.

The guy asked what people thought of his idea, and everyone told him exactly what they think. Many poo pooed it quickly, but that’s just what they thought of the idea.
