I mean, look at this guy's experience...

Let's stick this thread to the idea,

First of all a lot can a few years, especially if your under 20, during teens, during that time you quoted.

Right now learnt much more then how naive I was before on business.

If you want to start bring up history ... Was MikeJ was looking into businesses or asking question on businesses during his teens? Or playing with his genital counter parts in bed?

Many posters tried to help the OP here, offering sensible advice in a constructive way.
You have been helpful at beginning, I only responded in slightly aggresive manner when you kept asking the same thing of..

I suspect you don’t have the money, and the way you’re avoiding questions about it suggest you don’t have a way of funding it either.
and suspecting I have no funding with no basis whatsoever

This thread is just some numpty who thinks he can get a Lamborghini for free, everyone is being far too nice about it.

There's bit of confusion on this part in the thread, so now I will make it crystal clear :)

I don't want to sound like a spoilt brat but just making things clear.

- I can get a lamborghini tomorrow with cash if I wanted to
- I will not rent it or get buy finance, i will own it.
- Once I own the lamborghini, this thread "Idea" is only an additional income stream. I don't need the chuaffer idea to survive.

The guy asked what people thought of his idea, and everyone told him exactly what they think. Many poo pooed it quickly, but that’s just what they thought of the idea.
Without all the bickering, I would say overall the thread has been useful, and have noted some points down, and lot of food for thought. So thank you everyone for replies.

If you can pay cash for a Lambo, go for it. Fill your boots. Don’t bother doing the chauffeur thing, it will spoil your fun.

Some in their early 20s who has found a way to earn super car money without understanding how a business works, you must have a damn good job or a big inheritance. So more power to you, congratulations.
Post a pic of your Lambo once you buy it. I like Lambos, I would have an orange one if I had the money you have.

@shadowx does that mean you would be happy if it only partially offset the costs of running the car or do you want to cover running costs or make an actual profit?

I am sceptical about the the last, If you just want one of the first two you could try to come to an arrangement with someone already in the business to rent it through them and split the revenue. You will get less, but they will do the marketing (and they can do it more efficiently if they have multiple cars so it may even be more profitable).

I don't want to sound like a spoilt brat

Compared to some people I have met over the years, its refreshing that you care about not sounding like a spoilt brat!

If it covers running costs then I would be happy.

If it makes profit I would be more then happy.

But yes cover running costs is main goal.

Yes that's a good idea about giving someone advertise etc. But I want to avoid the word "rent" altogether.

Anyone who owns a supercar obviously cares about their supercar. No one wants a random guy flooring it and damaging it, that's why I prefer the chuaffer option. Plus renting comes with other headaches too.

This. If you have enough spare cash to buy a Lamborghini, then you have enough spare cash to also invest in something else that will make you the same amount or more money with

    - a lot less commitment on expensive insurances
    - a much bigger target customer base
    - lot less headaches
    - a lot less risk to your own pride and joy.

Buy the Lambo, enjoy it. Use the additional time and money you'd spend trying to hire the car out to work on something more fruitful.

Generally, when people post these links/reports they are trying to convince themselves of something. There's no point trying to convince us, since we will neither win nor loose, whatever you decide to do.

The size of the global supercar rental market is completely irrelevant to you.

what you need to decide, with reference to local, detailed research is whether the chauffeur market can deliver the returns you are looking for.
