Looking for cloud hosting provider

I am looking for best cloud hosting provider. My websites are getting bigger, so I need to shift all my websites in one place. I have heard about atlantic.net and rackspace.com

Can anyone recommend which one is good?

99% of all cloud hosting isn't anything of the sort. People just use the name because it sounds cool without having any idea of what it is.

Of your sites ate getting bigger and traffic is increasing why not just invest in a vps or dedicated server.

I have heard cloud is better than VPS. There are multiple nodes available in clouds, so if one node is attacked by flooder, traffic can still view my site via other nodes in cloud server. I had experience with knownsrv, their vps is good but can't manage flooding until I notified them. So, I am considering cloud. Other thing is, as cloud have many built in servers, my website will not provide 403 error when there are extreme visitors at a time.

Just checked, Rackspace new cloud pricing now starts at 2.2 cents per hour. Seems like they have increased the price on their smallest servers with their new open stack. But atlantic.net charging 1.3 cents per hour. Bit confused, which should I choose :|.
