Hello i live in Thailand , i am a 45 yr. old UK citizen , with a verified paypal account.
I am going to china, to do my own reseach on goods from there and to find rep. drop shippers. i have 3 names already from UK friend whom regulally use these chinese droppers.

Hello everyone,

Its well known to those in the China import business that the overwhelming majority of agents have many ways to cheat their customers. Over the years, I've learnt many of these games.

My advice is to seek professional advice before starting your dealings with suppliers and agents.

I agree with Easternbuyer.

I do sourcing in China and I've just set up a visa company issuing visas to foreigners living in china and the number of people i've met who have had their fingers burnt is quite large.

Don't feel just because they are on alibaba/speak a bit of english and they have a 5 year service badge that they wont cheat you, you must be really careful.

Freightforwarders are usually a good source of trusted agents information because they work closely with both factories and agents
