Hi guys, I was looking for a web developer/web designer to help me build my company site, I own a digital agency and I want the site to look like this one: aparticula .com (sorry but I was unable to put the domain together)

Is it expensive/hard to do?

Thanks in advance

Not hard and maybe not that expensive. It’s not a particularly enticing site. It looks like a million other agency sites.

What’s your budget? Hopefully in the region of £1000

Hi

It's something we'd be interested in helping with

It looks like that is a custom build but if you wanted to keep costs down there are many similar CMS themes available

Do you have a similar level of content / case studies as them ?
Would it need to be multi-lingual?

Thanks

You can find templates for wordpress between 60-70 $ from https://themeforest.net/. The rest is only content.
Only content? You make it sound like once you've got a theme the rest is easy. The content is what a site is all about. You can mess about with themes and technicalities as much as you like, but these things are simply a way to deliver the content, nothing more.

^ as above. And you have to start with teh content / images first - no point putting a website together and then trying to fit the content to it.

The example site has approx 35 uniquely produced images, that are style and composed by a high quality image photographer to a brief.

I very much doubt your 1,500 euros would touch the budget for images alone.

Sure anyone ( and there are many ) that can knock up a site using a similar theme and grab some stock images and throw up some text for less than a £1,000. But is that what you want for your business? What do you want your site to convey?

    I own a digital agency

Is slightly confusing, as you should know this stuff inside out, surely?

It is not hard to do if you are hiring a professional web designer. They know what they are doing and many ways to do it right. Just keep your budget little bit flexible as it is a task which will take a lot of time and hardship to complete. Also, with all the logical statement and programming language your developer would be using, it can take time. So, be very specific about your requirements and demands.

No, the rest is bugs, fixing bugs, fixing not well positioned boxes, setting custom fonts, custom colors, custom languages, custom icons, custom paddings, custom margins, custom images, then fixing more bugs, and then making sure your page won't get immediately taken down, because on all my clients’ websites, the attacks are constant. Mostly from Ukraine, Russia, China, etc.

Not to mention almost all plugins don’t go well together, so you have to find that one plugin from every category that doesn’t break your website and all the other plugins.

It’s weeks of hard work and a lot of nerves gone.

It does look easy...but on a sheet of paper.

It does look easy...for someone that never maintained a complex website, or a small website with a lot of traffic.

All that stuff you list doesn't have to be a problem if the site is well designed.

Most people don't care about all the fine details. If the content is right then the box positions, fonts, colours and all the other stuff is irrelevant. And if you do it properly you don't need lots of plugins.
