logo samples - what do you think of these?

Was hoping I could get a few opinions on fonts...it's late at night so I haven't even had the brain power to narrow them down yet...then I thought maybe I should get a few opinions before I do!

Icon needs a bit of finishing but it will have sound waves coming out...might put a gap in the circle too; not sure yet!

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

nothing very exciting with any of them really, the spider image could be re-designed... i slightly prefer number 1... but you need to be a bit selective, none of these are hugely very original, just different font types!

The drawing of the spider needs to be re-dun it does not go with any of the fonts or the circle.

Because you are trying to have a clean design with a sans-serif font and a solid circle the spider should be a solid as well. Try a top down vector representation of a spider.

I'm also not feeling any of the colors its to pastel for me needs to be a bit more contrasting and vibrant. My favorite fonts is are 2 and 13

i also thing you should try it with a capital S and H for the to words.

Don't think any of them are particularly good - it says nothing about who you are or what you do so pretty much pointless.

And as already suggested it look nuffin like a spider. This is a spider

None of those do nothing for me... the only thing what you might be able to extend on is the circle in #2

As previously mentioned, the spider needs redrawing! The only reason I knew it was a spider was the word "spider house".

As most people have already stated the spider looks more like a 'splodge', infact it looks like a crab! Also we could do with knowing what the business is so we can judge if the logo depicts the purpose.

Cheers guys...here's the background;

The original "logo" (no1) was started by a guy as a first draft - he had meant to give me a lot of colours & more variations etc but something major came up over the weekend & he is no longer able to finish the project in time

I need the logo pretty soon so last night I just started looking into fonts to give a rough basis for the logo - I cant draw so I couldn't do anything creative with the icon...

- It's going to be for an internet pr logo - primary market will be musicians, bands, DJs, record labels. Ages will generally be 18-40.

- I don't think I want a spider that looks too much like a spider / too obvious - I'm nappy with something a bit abstract

- I can see what you mean about the differences in style between the spider icon and the fonts I have chosen. I only really noticed this last night when I was looking - prior to that I'd left it in the hands of the design guy who was going to give several variations

- I think I'd prefer something easy to read & change the icon than to go with a 'messy' font that matches the spider

If anyone wants to drop me a pm with a price and a few samples of work I'd be happy to discuss. I'd need it done pretty fast though & sadly won't be online the rest of the day.

I'm happy to work along the lines of what I have already unless you have major creative juices bubbling & want to give me something different. I'm also not looking for any major funky fonts - something fairly simple with just a minor change would be great!

I need something that looks good in a square or has an icon (for twitter, facebook & various profiles).

the missing letters don't mean anything - it was the font website I was using sometimes cut off the last few letters

Getting a designer that can create a few concepts for you would be best you can then choose which one to work on . Also remember get them in all different file types for when you come to add it to your website, Promo materials etc....
