Local Advertising - Preston/Chorley/Southport

[PAUL - SCCleaning]

Hi all,

We have succesfully established our Specialist uVPC cleaning business(Domestic) in Preston(PR1 - PR5) and are now expanding into Chorley, Euxton, Tarleton, Southport and into Merseyside.
We have been fortunate that the majority of our work has been referral based in Preston so already have a nice number of customers in the areas above..but...we want more! The referrals will grow but short term, I'd like to look at all avenues.
Apart from hotfooting it around our customer base with leaflets, we have advertised in Parish Council Newsletters (which is cheap and a good take up) and the usual Yellow pages, Google.

Any ideas or things you have found work for you would be greatly appreciated?

I am unable to offer anything for free I am afraid but if you want to go down the route of large format bus advertising, to compliment your existing media coverage, in the areas you have mentioned please feel free to drop me a line. Its good to hear that you are expanding into new areas. Good Luck with it. However, If you do need to continue your presence in Preston and advertise locally in Fulwood, Preston or surrounding areas then visit our website jampublications.co.uk.

There is also a lot of free info on the different things to consider when marketing your business if your interested in that sort of thing. Hi, have you tried www.gumtree.com it's free to advertise in the Lancashire, Manchester areas.

The Champion and/or midweek Visiter local papers are probably the best places to advertise or have a flyer in as they are free papers and get delivered to every house in Southport.
