I've been working on a demo for a loan application form. This will only ever be a custom thing as each client will want different fields.

The demo is therefore to just show functionality.

I've tested and can't find any bugs. Can you?

And for those who have seen my stuff before, you will know I'm pants at design. So any suggestions on how to bling it up a bit will be appreciated.

Only a quick run through before I ran out the door, looks like it does what it says on the tin

  • Full name - two words
  • Maybe close button on the T&C at the bottom
  • applicationform.loanpaymentplugin.com/:15 Error parsing a meta element's content: ';' is not a valid key-value pair separator. Please use ',' instead.
  • loancalculator.js:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

@Solve My Problem - done, done, done and done.

It's quite clever in that the lead is generated at step 2 so even if someone doesn't complete the whole form you still have their details.

In the dashboard you can track who did what (shows as a percentage) and there is a DB record of every application with links to the uploaded documents.

And because of how it's structured adding and changing fields is simple.

Nice plugin mate. Here are some of my thoughts:
- UX: is there any max/min loan amounts, can we show these?
- UX: same as above but for the term. Otherwise a user has to slide up and down to see something we could easily display.
- Interaction: I'd transition by simply pushing left/right rather than this diagonal thing that's going on right now, it feels a little bit tacky.
- Imagery: probably show a success tick on the final screen? It'd feel more celebratory and nice.

Hi @willd

Yes. Easy to add below the slider

It works like that because you need get up to the top of the form at each step. Some slides are quite long. But is can be changed - it's just a jquery call

Easy to do - some clients like animations as well.

The idea behind this was to create something simple that is easy to customise. Add in too much bling and you spend ages undoing evertthing because the client wants dancing hamsters or whatever.

Progress bar is an option in the settings.

Descriptions can be added in the settings.
