Can anyone help. I'd like to add a LinkedIn button to my Divi Website footer, but when I go to Theme Options, it has all the others but nowhere to put the LinkedIn address.
You don’t need Divi for this. The icon is built into Wordpress. You will find it in the block menu.

@Onthebrightside - another thought. Why do you want to send potential customers/clients away from your site from where they may never return?

You want them to come from SM to your site not the other way round.

Hi @fisicx , Thank you for your help, it's true as you say, but I thought it might form a link in the web, which in turn would help the site? What do you think?

No, won’t do anything useful.

What does help is referrals from others site recommending your services.

I agree it's best to keep your users on the website and not send them away to another website, that's why they did not put their social links in the header or hero, but there's an expectation for it to be in the footer, whenever I want to check someone's socials I go to the website's footer.

That’s if they have socials. Many don’t as it doesn’t add value to their business.

And many businesses do have socials, and for those businesses, you put the social links in the footer ...

If they didn't have links to their social pages would it affect your decision to use their services or buy their products?

Sorry people, it wasn't a marketing post, it was a 'how to' post. What I would like to do is put a LinkedIn icon in the footer of a Divi website. Any ideas please, as I can't make the others work. Divi only seems to accommodate facebook, X and a couple of others, but not for some reason LinkedIn.

Many thanks for any assistance.

Have you looked at the built in SM blocks? Wordpress does it all for you, nothing to do with Divi.

In a normal theme it’s simple. You just add the block to a widget.

Divi however is a bit of a dinosaur despite being popular. So it might not even be possible. Your live would be some much simpler not using Divi, Avada of one of the other ancient themes.
