Hi all

any linked in users, I made a group for us to hook up on:

Feel free to join and add me to your network..

also, if you want other people to join your network once they have joined the group, please post your public profile link into this thread.

Then anyone can add you to their network, just join the group and then click the profile link and click the add to network link. Easy.

Yea, Matt and I have jested about that kind of mantra a while back ;)

BTW. I noticed a lot of Linked In members profiles not using their keywords on their profile for their websites. You can change the "My Company" to keywords by specifying other when you set the link up.

Is this part of that whole "21st Century" thing right?

I joined LinkedIn ages ago - so how about a mentor lead me through it, step-by-step (ONLINE - no less) with whatever "Gizmo's" they fancy, to show the way?

Like the R2 "online" deal - PROVE IT'S WORTH DOING - then folk might see the point.

(I use me as an example - others would fit the bill better!:redface: - NOT M-E!!!)

not everyone has actually joined the group tho..

please see the first post of the thread for instructions, you need to join the group AND post your public profile, then people can add you because you will be part of the same group.

As for why, well in my experience linked in is the only social networking system that really works for business. I've gained numerous clients through linked in, right up to PLC level, simply because of the way Linked in works.

It has nothing to offer teenagers or bored office workers, its purely about business networking. So if you are going to do one of them, I would do this one.

Just my opinion of course!

Like BDC Bulgaria I cannot post external URL yet although I have joined the group......excellent idea and I second (third/whatever) the thinking that this route can lead to business opportunities
