What a bizarre question. Why would you even want to try doing this?

Oh no! I need a solicitor to help me claim something. I know, I’ll look on Pinterest to see if I can find one. If not maybe they are on TikToc or Tinder.

You take the mick out of tiktok but there are some decent accounts on there from people marketing their accounting services, HR services and the like which we'd refer to as professional services. Can be quite informative.

It's not a question of whether the platform is 'good' or not, but whether it's appropriate for a specific service or client type.

Solicitors is far too broad to give a meaningful answer (I suspect ambulance chasers could use it to good effect)

But how many leads to they generate? Nothing wrong with a lawyer prancing about on tiktoc but if nobody ever picks up the phone it's pointless marketing.

I don't say any law firm would use Pinterest as its primary marketing tool but from what I've read, it can be a good alternative outlet for content like blog posts. You post on the firm's website and then pin the post to Pinterest. People search for all kinds of stuff on Pinterest: just search 'legal' there and see the wealth of content that comes up. I'd use it more as another way of maintaining a firm's brand presence than as a direct form of promotion.

@JeffPWFB - people post all sorts of stuff on SM. Most of it using auto posting tools. Doesn’t mean it’s effective marketing.

Why do you want to use Pinterest to market legal firms?

What market research have you done that shows your target customers would look on Pinterest when looking for legal services.

Pinterest has a growing audience, but it’s still pretty unexplored—or at least underutilized—when it comes to Pinterest legal marketing. I don’t see many law firms actively using it, which actually makes me want to test it out for one of my newest clients. Could be a great opportunity!

It could indeed be - presumably your starting point would be to research whether/which type of client is currently using it?

Exactly. It should be used for branding without expecting clients or sales.

Your average lawyer knows nothing about marketing. But someone suggests they ought to do X to improve ranking, leads or whatever. So the lawyer engages a marketing agency who set up an auto poster to bung random stuff on a range of SM channels. This agency can point to all these posts and send in an invoice.

No targeting, no reporting, no assessment of effectiveness. Just a load of pointless posts.

If you think it will work @MickelCL then go for it. But I suspect it will lead nowhere.
