Hi,

I've just started a new business. I currently have a mobile phone ( personal number ) but want to have a separate number for the business (either mobile or land-line) . It doesn’t make sense carrying around 2 smart phones in my pocket. What do most people suggest, getting a forwarded land-line to my existing mobile? Really I want the most cost effective solution to this problem. Any ideas?

Thanks! :)

The simplest solution is just a business number, there a number of companies that offer this service out there including our selves (Tekara VoIP Ltd)

We offer simple forwarding service or a VoIP package that will allow real-time call plan changes (cascaded calling etc) and outgoing calls if you want a phone for the SOHO environment.

Have a look and you could be up and running in a few minutes. There really are lots of different features out there so take your time to look what suits you best!

Kind Regards

    Three possible alternatives here:

    1) If you have BT business line and BT mobile, I believe you can get free calls from your BT landline to your BT mobile?

    2) if you get an Orange or Vodafone business mobile, you can have a landline number attached to it hence forwarding can be much cheaper!
I am an Orange and Vodafone dealer so can discuss further/sort this if you wish.

    3) Get a Burnside 'follow me' unit which plugs into your landline and make sure you get free calls between sim in the Burnside and your mobile.
I specialise in this piece of equipment so again can discuss further/sort this if you wish.

    Best Regards
