I need keyword ideas for my company

Corporate events,
private parties and events
PR stunts and press launches etc

In the Newcastle upon tyne area

I just cannot find keywords and phrases that potential clients may type into Google.

Any help really would be appreciated.

What would you type in if you were search for models in N U T?

corporate models
models for hire north east

The point is to try and get into the mindset of your typical customers and use key words/phrases in your text copy that they might use. What phrases do they currently use to find you - check your server logs/stats. You could also use the Google Keyword tool to test how popular currently used phrases are.

If you're currently not being found for "newcastle models" then you need to revamp your text copy to reflect it, often a simple change to page headings and/or page titles, as well as working in related phrases into your text copy will help.

Do people want just models or do they need the whole PR package?
How do you get business at the moment if you are not getting found through searches?
Perhaps offline marketing would more effective than reliance on the vagaries of the search engines?

I agree with fisicx here having previously worked in brand marketing for a global brand we would normally got on recommendation or referral on this type of thing and not hunt online unless really struggling. I think off line marketing and networking with complementary agencies would be a better strategy.

There will be certain keyword phrases a wannabe model would type into the search engines, but i agree with the previous posts that you will need to build up your brand and credibility first. What makes you stand out from the other agencies in your area? The Social networking site Facebook would be a good place to start and i would advise setting up a group to start networking in your area. Twitter could also be another site you could have a look at too.

I think the most obvious keywords would be 'model agency' followed by your area. I cannot see it being too difficult to get your site higher up in the rankings on this phrase, providing the on-site SEO and the right off-site SEO strategy is in place.

but i agree with the previous posts that you will need to build up your brand and credibility first. .

You don't need to build up your brand and credibility first on the internet - you first need to find the right keywords, write good PPC ads that get clicked on or get 1st page SEO, and design a website that converts visitors into sales/enquiries.

Spending fortunes on branding without understanding that the internet is primarily a direct response marketing tool led to companies and investors losing fortunes during the dotcom bubble.

This is what they are not what they do. keyword research is king and queen of internet marketing, it isn't something you do in 2 minutes flat, it is the bedrock of your entire SEO/SEM plan.

What do these models do? are there industry terms for the tasks they perform, like flyer models, product demonstrators etc?
