I appreciate that the market is typically geared towards lowest cost possible, however a lot of my orders are distressed purchases and customers are not happy with delivery delays - particularly when the reasons are quite pathetic.
We have used pretty much all the carriers over the years and they are all the same.
We are willing to pay more for better service because the time it costs sorting issues is just too much. When I mention this to the delivery reps, they typically just charge more and put us on the standard (crap) customer service call centres.
I recently found out about UPSs PCA program, but they say is it for large businesses only.
Does anyone else offer such a program for small businesses?
