I have very recently started a up a recruitment business and whilst having a fairly positive start, I feel like I need some sort of investment. Does anyone know who the best people to get in touch with are, or if there is anyone on here that invests in new start ups?

I have registered with startup loans to see what comes back but in truth I want someone who can provide some guidance along with funding. I won't need someone helping me every minute of everyday, but someone I can check in with and keep me on the right track with guidance on various things that may be right or wrong in the business.

Obviously still new to this, I know this is something I can make work but I'm still a bit of a novice...

I've worked with a lot of recruiters in a previous life and also start-up recruitment businesses on my books. Recruitment is one the main industries you can start up with very minimal investment. A website, some business cards, a LinkedIn subscription and a phone is pretty much what you need to get started. I'm not sure putting a loan around your neck to pay for a mentor is the best way forward though.
