Infographics submission is far from a latest 'trend' in SEO (or rather ... link building).
Read up on what happened to myblogguest and the publishers of infographics there.

You'd be better off posting the infographic on your own site and then outreaching to bloggers who might find the infographic of interest.

I love infrographic but this is just another way of submitting and creating good content out there. Like what others already said, infrographics is pretty much the same as any other content submission sites out there only that it provides more graphics which makes it very easy and entertaining for your audience to read and absorb your content.

Infographic submission includes submitting your infographics to specific infographic sharing websites. Obviously the amount of time and resources that can go into infographic creation means that there can be more value in sharing or submitting infographics than, say, sharing a standard graphic or written article.

I totally agree with you..

Neon shares some excellent advice about infographics for link building. The MyBlogGuest story is obviously top of mind with many in the SEO community at the moment.

Well designed infographics can still be awesome as link bait - as well as providing accessible and informative content for the reader - but that doesn't necessarily mean that you have going down the infographic submission site route.

Anything that clains to be the latest trend in SEO means it's probably a bit dodgy and should be avoided. Unless you are prepared to take the fall when Google catches up
