In demand?

Hello friends :)

I have a quick question.

I was going to start a consumer website but it now seems that this is not as importnant to other people as it was me. to be honest, I was to start a NFP (not-for-profit) site as a hobby for me to start and my fiance to run.

I have a years hosting already paid for and I have domain names already registrered (will register more if neccessary)

Does ANYONE have any idea of what type of site (forum, basic site, help site etc...) to publish?

It doesn't need to be anything to amazing, just something that would seem in demand at the moment?

Even a forum would be fine :)

Thanks

Matt

I think you will find that a lot of people are wary of the legal aspects of complaining too much, after all we are british and the british dont complain!!

That being said, I do think that a consumer site is needed, perhaps along the lines of people posting reviews of good things as well as hints on what to avoid ... and the pitfalls of certain products ...

Personally I get very frustrated with certain aspects of life and after the initial anger usually think well no one else would be interested etc so forget about it!

So perhaps not quite a name and shame site, more a place to go to find out the good stuff .... take the opposing view to other consumer sites out there ... basically if it aint got a good review on the site, take it read as there could be a problem with that product?? Dont know here, just thinking out loud ....

Thanks Gill, the site I had in mind, would offer GOOD and BAD reviews plus a channel to communicate with the company in question, weather it be a complaint, comment or whatever!

I don't intend to slate every company out there, if a company deserves great feedback, it will get it!

Thanks Gill
