Importing personalised tea tins from China

We are starting to sell our tea and I think a tea tin featuring our tearoom would be a nice momento or gift. I’ve found a few places in China that do this sort of thing, but has anyone on here done anything similar and are able to offer advice?

Do they have to be imported by yourself? Or could you use someone like TinwareDirect - they make bespoke printed tins and we've used them in the past for a variety of items without issue.

Avoids the complexity of importing goods, if you don't do it that often?

Depends on your price point and confidence around importing and choosing the right manufacturer overseas,

Since posting, I’ve found a few UK manufacturers, including Tinware Direct. Thanks - I think that’s the way to go.

There are lots of lovely 'tea tins' and other tea apparel available here in China and it can easily be customised for you to your chose design. Contact me if you would like help with this - be happy to help (I personally enjoy collecting them)!

An issue to consider is that you are shipping a lot of fresh air!

Tea cans can be ceramic, metal, plastic, paper..., suppliers should be near you, which will save costs
