Importance of slogans for Restaurant/cafe business

Are slogans important for restaurant/cafe business. Do you think they give the business a unique identity , possibly add to the marketing aspect?

It's an organisation's brand positioning that's important/gives a business an identity - very few businesses are unique.

You can develop marketing messages, strap lines, brand identity from your brand positioning.

I can't remember the slogan for a single restaurant, anywhere in the world.

I can remember which ones have the best riblets, pancakes, milkshakes - and those who actually put ice in their soft drinks, which ones are open late, who do cool things for people on their birthday, and which ones have great service - or none at all, so I avoid them.

If I needed vegan, gluten free, locally sourced, or some other special requirements, then I'm sure those would enter into the equation.

Great friendly staff and fresh tasty food, served relatively quickly and at a reasonable price - let your remarkably positive experience be what they remember.

Then again, if the servers look like they came from a model's photo shoot (male and female), I'm sure that wouldn't hurt either

Marketeers will tell you they are important (along with a logo and a facebook page) but they aren't.

I do not know what you are quoting so would not know if local or not. If you had said it was a national chain for example then I would have known it was not local.

Web address may be a bit long for some companies.

I do not know what you are quoting so would not know if local or not. If you had said it was a national chain for example then I would have known it was not local.
