A change seems to have been introduced sometime last year with regard to ignored members. It used to be that if you ignored someone you did not see any of the posts they wrote, but if another member quoted their post in a reply, the ignored member's quote was visible in that reply. That appears to have changed so that you no longer see anything from an ignored member. This makes some threads utterly meaningless - you see the reply to the ignored member but you don't see what the reply is about or even who it is aimed at. That can be very confusing.

Is there any chance of reverting to the previous method?

If you are ignoring them why do you even care what they said?
Did you read my post? I don't care what they said, I am interested in what those I am not ignoring are saying. What they say, if they are answering an ignored member, is unintelligible. A comment that just shows as 'That does not make sense' is hard to understand

Click see ignored posts down at the bottom of the page and then you see in context.
Or just do not bother with anything that seems confusing.
