Hi,

I picked up the .com/.net/.org trio of a domain name I think would make a good 'brand', but I'm not sure what to do with them!

I'm not a business person, I haven't a clue where to start, I just saw them and liked them and they were cheap!

Any ideas for what to do with 'BrandedGeek.com' would be appreciated... Or should I just sell them on?

target gaming shops such as games workshop and look for local gaming clubs. The geeks that are there often like the opportunity to stand up for themselves and most have websites (hubby is one of them!!)

Sounds like a pc-techie-fashion label :)

Yeah, that's what I thought... Just don't know how to develop it, where to start, or anything!

I'm a comp. sci graduate, I know nothing about business!

Yeah, I like the idea of a clothing brand, but haven't a clue where to start.

Thinkgeek is good, but with that, IWOOT, Firebox, etc, that market seems a bit, well, flooded...

Think Geek is well respected within the geek community, as some of their stuff is very clever. Firebox on the other hand just sells tat (IMHO). It depends what market you want to aim yourself at. The benefit you'd have over something like Think Geek is that you'd be UK based, whereas they are based in the US.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. However, Think Geek will ship to the UK.

As I said, I'm totally unaware of how to even start a business, let alone source stuff, store it, etc, so I was thinking clothing might be something viable and easy to store, etc?

sorry, I don't think there is any real value in those domain names apart from what you paid.
