I think that many of the better established SMBs (and certainly the larger ones) are keen on a cost effective, reliable and good quality service in this area. There is often concern about a lack of flexibilty and responsiveness though.

At the smaller and newer end of the SMB market, I think there is less interest partly because it is not usually a big issue in the early days and their is a perceived need to [overwork] keep a handle on everything and manage all overhead costs very carefully. It takes a while to get the business proposition running well and to be more concened about focusing on core capabilities.
