Is it gocompare.com or bobselephantguns.za ? Going to be different answers for both so more detailed info on sector and income generated etc will get you better answers.

If it is gocompare though there are loads on here looking for a decent business for 500 quid. Selling websites for a decent return or near the value of what it might be to you is very hard in the majority of instances.

Most websites have a £0 value so it's not worth trying to sell them.

But if your website is generating a lot of revenue (or has some other major asset like an active 100K subscriber list) then, yes, you can find people willing to pay money for it.

As @ADW says, the answer is going to be different depending on how big/successful your website is. I have extensive information on selling websites here (and on my forums).

It's a site that get results from ebay and amazon. I built it myself and is running now for 1 and half years. but because it's only me that is working on it, I have no time to advertise the site and I think it would be better for someone with a lot of time to market. Before when I have someone who help me market the site, It reached to 600-850 visitors a day. Now that I don't have someone helping me market it now, It only reach to 150 -180 visitors a day. My google bots and reach 150,000 to 250,000 page crawl a day aside from other bots and It is running in AWS services.

That's a classic line and I've covered in here.

That has zero value if you aren't able to convert those bot hits into actual money.

You may get a few quid for it. But, and sorry to say this, I don't know if it's even worth spending the time to find a buyer. The Flippa flea market is the place to find buyers for small sites like this. However, my advice would be that it's probably not worth wasting money on Flippa fees for this one.

Sometimes these things are worth nothing but they are like a baby you have brought into life and you do not simply want to close it down

If it is earning diddly squat and so worth diddly squat consider giving it away to someone that you know that might fancy playing around with it a bit and taking it further

    A sixth former - a student - Mrs May

They all have time or will do soon

Hello Guys, thank you for all the replies. I decided not to sell my site anymore instead I would like ask for more advice most of the time client emailed me through my website and asking for quotation of items and want to order more like for example currently company from japan wants to order 20 sets of items that worth £200 plus each, normally I always told them that I am only an affiliate website that compares products, I don't have the Item on hand then I gave them the link of the item owner and tell them to contact directly the owner. Is their a process that I could ask the item owner for a referral fee because these client are going directly to them and not using the ebay or amazon site anymore or I just do nothing. thanks
