Before you buy a load of impressions from someone, make sure you split-test lots of different banners using adwords.

Facebook is probably the easiest way to target a defined demographic and is a good place to avoid click fraud.

This is probably a good place to start. You can choose your age range, sex, title, description and associated groups. Make sure you tag your url for analytics and use a simple image.

Also check out ad planner for your competitors activity and demographics to give you a better idea.
