How would I legalise or register professional use only cosmetics in the UK?

Hiya,

I am part of a team and we have become distributors for a large US skincare brand. It is not currently available in the UK but we will be launching soon. We have registered all the retail products efficiently however we are stuck on how to go about registering Professional Use only products that will include chemical peels to be used in clinics and salons?

Any advice would be welcome,

This is something the company who own the products should be doing, not you the distributor.

We have registered the retail products on the HMRC site via the cosmetic product notification. However it is different to selling professional use only products and I don’t know where to go to do it, hard to find a straight answer on google

I have spent hours on google trying to find how and I have already read the link you’ve sent. That link is for retail cosmetic use and not professional only use for products such as chemical peels. The company is US based and have said it’s our own responsibility
