It matters not one jot where the title tag appears in the document head, google ignores all the other tags so it makes no difference. Same with the keywords - it's not used for indexing so it's irrelevant if there are spaces or not.

EWD - I had a look at your site and in testimony, the information is excellent, true to form and clearly laid out. I recomend others read your site if they want to understand SEO better!

I'm no expert and self taught with many tears on the way, then I paid a certified "expert" to teach me more and I learnt only one new thing after two years of struggling for position (in fact the rest of the advice plumeted my rankings severely) say no more as to how I felt!

Moral = If you are just beginning, what you save on doing SEO yourself, you could earn 10 x quicker by getting up there to start with by using the right help and spending your time more wisely on other marketing efforts.

If you are nearly there - still seek advice, might only learn one thing, but it could be crucial and holding you back.

Firstly I would remove the large quantity of keywords in your head tags...Also in the title tag remove the - and be consistent, your title looks incredibly messy.

As for the debate over whether google looks at head tags or not, being that humans read your website, better to have them then not.

Google may ignore all other tags, but still better to have the title tag first, why make google bot work harder to find information.

As for the other keywords, description may not be used for indexing but it is used by humans to read what the site is about, as description is used by search engines for this purpose.

Once you have sorted your head tags I would look at adding some alt tags to your images.

Also the product descriptions seem a little strange to me....'N-514 PVC Bag'? sounds more like a product code than a product title.

'Excellent Wallet' seems a little generic to me, I have an excellent wallet but looks nothing like the one I have!!

I might be wrong (wouldn't be the first time) as you know your niche.

I'm sorry but this personal attack on my professional credentials is unbecoming. If you read the google guidelines, various google blogs, the SEO survey carried out by SEOmoz and many other academic research papers you will realise that it doesn't matter where you put the title tag in the document head.

Furthermore if you are promoting yourself as an SEO firm then you need to put your own house in order as some of the services you offer contravene the google guidelines and you promte yourself as a web designer which does rather negate your point about not debating with a web designer.

You can read as many blogs, forums as you want but they are no replacement for years of experience, the title tag plays an important role in seo, and for web designers, marketing companies, or anyone to say this is false, then you are the one who is attacking not just our credentials but every ethical seo agency in the country.

Read my post. I didn't say it wasn't important - all I said was it doesn't matter where the title tag appears in the document head.

On your site you state that you do monthly submission to the search engines. Google makes it quite clear that this is unnecessary and is no guarantee of inclusion. Once a site has been indexed, any further requests for inclusion will be ignored. If you mean sending a monthly site map update, again google says submitting a sitemap doesn't guarantee that all pages will be crawled or included in the SERPs.
