Have though about setting up a "headquarters" (cough cough) in Ireland,? its only a 12.5% tax rate.

I know you used to be able to fly to Dublin from the UK and open up an Irish bank account and Ltd company then fly back again that night with your shinny new company papers. Not even sure if you need to go there in person anymore.

Search for Irish Formations loads of companies offer this kind of service.

Plus if something did go wrong you can always fly or take the boat over and sort it out quickly.

Maybe gives you another option to think about.

Quickest offshore bank account to open currently is defo euro pac bank. However, it might get shut down soon if it loses all its correspondent relationships - this a risk you will run with most "offshore" jurisdictions that are "easy" to open. Don't go anywhere near Belize for the same reason.

Cyprus could be good - try hellenic bank.

Finally, there is a good article about this on the streber blog - search google for "streber offshore bank account open" and have fun!

Indeed, agree with the members who says that to open an offshore bank account - better use a professional firm. Why? Because the professional companies have established partnerships with the banks that ensure faster account opening and communication.
Also as you mentioned - you need to open account without visiting and fast - it doesn't happen like that. If you are not visiting the bank - there will be a lot of paperwork to complete and also the certification of all your legal documents and your ID. And don't think that the offshore banks are not asking what is your business activity etc. It may be few years ago, but now they are asking a lot of questions to fully understand what you are doing. And if they don't ask that - I wouldn't trust this bank, it may end that one day your bank account will be blocked.
