What seo work have you been doing?

Have you identified your target customer and the services they want? Have you then created pages to describe those services? Does your site have contact details, trustmarks, referrals and reviews?

Following the latest Google Webmaster Guidelines is the most sensible and sustainable way to increase the quantity of quality leads to your business website

Google Search Central is a relatively new website with detailed information about all aspects of white hat SEO and how to gain exposure in Google search results the proper way

https:// developers . google . com / search

You can gain traffic to your business website from many sources, but SEO leads are far more likely to convert into customers than most other traffic generation methods

I disagree, highly targeted adverts can convert really well and unlike seo, can be constantly adjusted.

The OP's site is just spam.

Look at their "about us" page. At the bottom, there is some text talking about an essay writing service, and on the same page, the link under "Where do we do it" actually goes to a (blocked) slots gambling site. Another essay writing link on their "Personal Assitant Service" site.

And really? Someone called "Abby Phillips", supposedly in New York, doing a job as a virtual assistant with such a poor level of English?

I agree with using highly targeted campaigns. We cast a wide net using soc-med marketing for our business (only boosted posts for FB and IG ads), and we use specific criteria to reel in our target market for our ad campaigns. It takes a whole lot of effort to do it, but we set our sights on building the perfect CRM system since we're heavily skewed towards push ads and email marketing as a whole. We used HubSpot among others to automate our marketing and sales process.

We use push notifications sparingly on blog and event posts, but there must have been past visitors who have accepted to receive the pushes, then also your content will need to be interesting enough to engage them in the first place, once in flow, this can be brilliant to get influxes of eyes on your content. Other than that, persist, grow an email list and communicate regularly, give people a reason to return to your site.

We use push ads quite often too, it's a hit or miss for us though. Our marketing process in general gets its big boost with personalized email campaigns that most of the time–do not end up in the spam folder of our customer database.

What a shame, I couldn't even find their site on Google. What a waste of breath

This thread is about SEO unless I'm mistaken Abby Philips?

"I am doing SEO for my website for the last 8months. But I can't generate so much traffic. What is the problem? How can I generate traffic for my website? Any suggestions or tips."

The answer is simply that your website is not following the Google Webmaster Guidelines

All other answers in this thread are helpful but not of primary importance

Fix your on-site problems before undertaking any off-site marketing, and you can do this by following the simple instructions contained within the Google Webmaster Guidelines

"Abby" is based in Kolkata, India, and probably not picking up these replies. More likely is going to make the odd post every few days until reaches the 30 post mark for posting links...

So a domain name registered to someone in the UK for a website of a business based in New York, from a member posting comments from an IP address originating in India. So I'm afraid I don't know why India, but it is.

I'd be really curious to understand their business model - what's in it for the spammer by posting a website such as that?

Malicious code downloaded onto visitors' machines that helps mining bitcoins? Or..?

They get paid to promote the business. The usual process is to ask a question then wait for someone to reply asking for the name of the website.

So, once that happens, you get what, a bunch of views from whoever views the thread.

And then what, backlinks from all the sites where they use this tactics?

Is it effective, though? Am I missing something?

If you're hoping to create traffic as fast as could be expected, paid advertisements can be an extraordinary choice. Producing natural traffic can require weeks or months, while paid advertisements, whenever done effectively, can make a prompt deluge of visitors.

All things considered, there are a couple of suggestions to remember like you ought to never pay for banner advertisements. Banner promotions have a famously low pace of return, and lots of people only click on them without any intention.
