how to find investors when you are new in the business world?

I am a Master Mechanical Engineer and I design machines and write programs for CNC machines. I want to start a startup for the design of machines and robots in the fields of agriculture and the military. How do I find investors who would help me make a startup and in return would have the advantage of using everything I design?

That's what I think I'm going to do. I would offer my design to companies that have the infrastructure to build it. I am developing my design and soon hope that it will be available for production. I believe that it is difficult, especially at this time, which is not safe for investors.

Very few manufacturing companies have their own designers. Some also specialise in contract work.

My design is going in two directions for now. Robotization of agriculture and the army. I believe that there is room for my design and the novelties I offer in these areas.

think you’ll have to consider the type of investment you want to attract. There are several types of investors ranging from VC investors, Private equity investors, search funds, family offices and many more. So it may depend on what you are looking for within the investment market. The good news is there are many funding, acquisition and micro equity marketplaces available on the go with the help of the internet. You’re getting involved in a space where you’ll need hundreds of thousands of pounds to get a product through R&D, prototyping, testing and mould design. Add to that, there are patents granted on a daily basis that you’ll have to be aware of and not infringe.

Your best bet may be to work with a product design company that can support the process required to achieve your goal.

You’ll first have to convince them of your credentials. Where have you achieved your success to date?
