How to find if a limited liability company has subsidiaries

if I want to purchase a limited liability company in UK incorporated, how am I to know how many subsidiaries it owns. I have tried companies house and accounts filed- it only shows who owns that company but does not show what that company owns if it does own anything.

Chances are the subsidiaries would have the same directors. Look at the directors to see if they're directors of other companies.

What if the subsidiery is a company

A company needs directors. So, the directors of a subsidiary are likely to have some in common with the parent company.
