How to add a PDF document to a website

Hi everyone - can I pick your business brains please

I have a very basic website - I will update this one day - not yet though - limited funds and all that jazz

I would like to know is it possible to upload a PDF brochure to your website - and how do you do this

Basically I would like to upload a brochure that has a list of documentations that clients can purchase

As non techy as possible would be great - I am a massive techno phobe!!!

upload it to the server, then link to it as you would normally link to a dcoument/webpage.image. When the visitor clicks on it, they get a call to open it using Adobe reader (or whatever they have set to read PDF's.)

Are you wanting the client to be able to purchase the document?

Or you can upload as flash like what we have done here but it will probably limit the amount of people who views it if they don't have flash.

I love the way that looks - only problem is the flash document will far outshine my humble website!! - But I will definitely do this when I decide to revamp my website - so thank you.


Are you wanting the client to be able to purchase the document? - No - I just want them to look at the document to see what products we can offer (When I get my act together I will probably have product downloads and instant email delivery - but that is way to sopisticated for my tiny techno brain

Just to let you know I, I'm sure along with some others, would much prefer to be able to just download the PDF rather than having to use a Flash viewer to access the PDF. Nothing stopping you doing both though; link to PDF for download and Flash viewer.

The other problem with using flash is you can't download and then print out the document. PDF is an acronym for 'portable document format'. Flash isn't portable (you can't take it with you).
