How expensive is it to enforce a breach in a contract?

We often sign, and get signed, many contracts etc, but how expensive is it to actually take someone to court over a breach etc etc, domestically here in the UK, and internationally.

I just wanna be amused, I got a feeling of the figures.

Really depends on the contract and how litigious the plaintiff.

In theory you could make a small claims application and spend very little. Or you could end up in the high court spend thousands per day.

Somebody once likened ocean racing to standing fully clothed under an ice cold shower tearing up £20 notes.

Now with litigation you don't necessarily get the ice cold shower, but it's £50 notes you will be tearing up.
