How do I get work on a chat line please

I know you probably have already looked, but I just wondered have you checked out century21 website, they always seem to have a few jobs on there.

Sorry, but a lot of people are relocating or thinking of relocating (i know a couple here) which is why I pointed out that the information you gave was not strictly correct...if it's left uncorrected people would be misinformed - you chose to include the info on charges (and an awful lot more about your life) even though it has nothing to do with chat lines, so please permit people to correct that information. if you do not want people to comment on elements of your life or taxation other than the main question then why include the info in the first place?

Of course a new thread of paying charges if working outside Europe can be started..good idea...but please, don't object to correction of misinformation.

The portage scheme has been around for over a decade, you could have worked through one previously and not paid social charges unless you earned...here is an example of one specific to those working with immobiliers (the first that google gave) http://www.fci-immobilier.com and there are plenty more.

In any country it is very easy to conduct business through structures that are not economical - when I was a teenager, I persisted in setting up Ltd's when I didn't really need to and could have stayed as sole trader...which costs me a lot of extra pennies in accountants etc. The new scheme in France may have only been around since January, but there was help prior to that.

Hi. Hope someone can offer some advice. I've just gone through the application process for a, Adult Chat Line operative job in the UK. The job is working from home through my own landline. Emailed letter and CV, had an email back telling me to phone and have a short phone interview, then two days later i got an email saying i'd got the job with various forms attached to fill in and send back to them. I have to send photocopy of proof of age (passport or driving license etc), my bank details for payment (fortnightly). It all looks great so far. £15 - £20 per hour etc, choose my own hours as long as they are above 8 per week.

However, alarm bells are ringing as they also ask for £100 deposit up front so that they can connect my landline up to their system. I get this £100 back when i've made it.

Is this normal? Or is it obviously a scam? They certainly come across as a professional business with website, good documentation etc.

Any advice would be appreciated

Im certainly not going to send money up front. Any legitimate business would pay for the technical connections themselves and not expect you to do it. I think i will give them a ring and query them on it though. Mainly because i am so annoyed!

May be you can ask for some references for the people already working with them, as by the looks of it they are treating to as an customer and not as an employee.....

They make more money through signing ladies up to the scam ( and it is a scam) than they will ever do on the " chat line ".

Buy a premium number for use in your own home.

Take out advertisements in all the publications ( sleazy ) you can think of,or find on the Internet.Well not all,as you will work on a budget you have set yourself.

Target a niche market is my advice.

As the business grows ( and it will ) get more phone lines and more ladies to help you.

Voila,job done.

Come back here in 12 months time and give me 10% of your profit.

I should be a very rich man.
