How can i start a business on Amazon as an individual

I would like to start my sales on launching a sales platform on Amazon. However, My company is not yet registered and hence, i dont have a business registration number. this has disallowed me from starting the sales platform on amazon.

I have low stock, no warehouse and no presence in the market yet. I am not sure if this will allow me open and register a company.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You do not need to have 'anything' to register a company, but about £15, assuming you want to limited. For a sole trader, just call HMRC and tell them you are self employed!

What did Amazon say when you asked them about this issue?

You don't have to be a limited company to sell on Amazon. You can be a soletrader and all you require is your UTR code. You can even set up without this as long as you provide to Amazon within 3 months of registering
