I'm currently looking into different hosted Exchange server providers.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm considering Rackspace- does anyone have anything good/bad to say about them?

Thanks,
Michael

We can offer you MS Exchange 2003 or 2007 license on one of our Windows Dedicated Server. You can check our Dedicated Servers at http://www.eukhost.com/dedicated-server-hosting.php

I'm looking for an established and reputable UK-based provider. It would initially be for around 10 users but with room for expansion. The service would actually be for a law firm I'm involved with, so quality of service, security, off-site backups etc. are essential, and more of a consideration than the price.

Yes as Duane says, Rackspace are a bit pricey, but so far they are the only provider I've found who fits the above criteria and who have convinced me I'd want to place my trust in them.

Thanks for all your feedback. We're not going ahead with this for at least another month so any further input is welcome.

Cheers,
Michael

Hi, just started using tsohost, thanks to dwebs :D

Very easy to setup and managed to talk me through the process.
We only have a couple of mailboxes with them but they will do something with the price the more you have...

They have a decent exchange setup, tempted to setup our own platform but we only see the odd request here and there so doesn't make it worthwhile. Anything 50 user plus we do offer managed exchange so servers dedicated just to their users.

Business class internet services, and they've won best business ISP at the ISPA's several times in the past few years.

They do hosted exchange, and have a special offer for your own exchange server at the moment.

Google them (as I'm not allowed to post links(!)).

If you need assistance we're a reseller.

Regards,

Russell.

We are using Rackspace.
You won't be desappointed by the service they provide and time to respond to queries any time of the day or night from a free phone number.
True, they can be expensive but I have yet to see a company that can be as responsive. It's like having the server in our office, it's like working on it straight away.
The latency on the network is minimal with Rackspace.
Then you are sure where your data is, not in some humid garage.

If you find the same service from another provider cheaper, I want to know about it.
I'll still be wary to move to try someone else. Don't trust reviews online too much, it's seems they are very good at pretending to be customers critizising each other or praising themselves, even creating awards for their own compnay so nobody else could possibly win that particular award.
