What do you guys do when going on holiday

I would like to go skiing a couple of times this season, early January late March, but I am also hoping Jan and Feb might be quite busy.

Dilemma!

A lot will depend on what line of business you are in. In my two lines of business I am fairly lucky as one I have a 1-2-1 relationship with 1 client at a time so can simply say that I am not available between two dates. For the other my role is sales and oversight (aka project management) and so its a case of managing the pipeline of tenures going out leading up to a holiday and paying high roaming charges to check emails/ reports and answer voicemails.

Think this would be more suited to the "time Out" section :)

Maybe it would, did not thik! Maybe admin might be so kind and move it?

Business, I am a technical author and I still do some of that. I can do this anywhere, but since the start of recession getting paid has been a problem.

So started a site selling sports stuff over the net. It is mostly sports wear at the mo it is ski stuff and some equipment

Drop shipping is most commonly done when your volumes are low! When you have to walk down to the post office each time rather than have RM come and collect daily etc

Hi,

One idea if your online is to put a notice up saying youre on holiday and anyone ordering between this date - that date can use code XYZ and get 10% off - all goods ordered now are desptched on 'date'

There are so many people working online that it is becoming reasonably accepted to have a closure period... and I think its okay - plus if i get a voucher code bonus, I'm happy to wait a week or so longer.

I think I might try this. Has anyone else done similar and did it work out ok?
