Go back home. Clear out your history/cache/cookies, reboot the PC and you should be OK.

What has happened (I suspect) is you could connect to the host so saw the 'not found' page. Your computer put this in the cache ansd disp[alyed it sionce it was newer than your webpage. So all you need to do is clean everything out and start again.

Thank you i will try that when i get home. I do think it might not only be that as i cant access the hosting panel from the computer here aswell as at home which tends to suggest server doesnt it?

I had a similar problem with not being able to view my website at work but i could at home.

I emailed my webhost and it turned out that the server had blocked my work ip address because it had detected multiple failed FTP login attempts (not something i was actually aware I had done!).

As soon as i gave them my ip address there were able to unblock it and all was well!

could also be that your work's firewalls and monitoring applications block some webpages, traffic etc which is why you couldn't see certain pages.

Have you entered anything in your hosts file? this could also be the problem if they have moved servers.
