Hi guys I’m new here nice to meet you all and hope become part of the community.
I was made redundant - therefore I’m taking it as a change to start my own online business. I was a senior buyer for 15 years for Amazon / ASOS & Pets at home . My parents own a carpet business for that last 25 years where I worked growing up - so I am combing both skill sets and setting up my own rug business called Rug Love Limited.
I incorporated the business 3 weeks ago and have been working none stop building my website along with designing my logo/ brand guidelines & social media content so all fit my theme. I am still very much in the early stages and not listed anything yet.. still designing. But I have signed trade agreements with several uk suppliers and the margins are healthy I will also be going on eBay and Amazon .
It’s a scary but exciting time trying to make the best of a bad situation.
I’ve applied and passed a credit check for a start up loan but just in then middle of the documents plan .
I will be using the money to import a 20 foot container from the Far East .
Anyway that’s me in a nutshell and where I am currently up too .
Ps I’m looking for an interior design regular blogger for my site if there are any on here or anyone can point me in the right direction .
Hope to speak to many of you to provide each other with ongoing support and advice .
