I am new on this forum, but I have been a lurker for quite some time now.
I do SEO full-time, I started it way back in 2009, when it was still much easier.
My specialty is link building, I tried all kinds of methods throughout the years with more or less success.
I focus on guest posting as I believe that is the most effective and scalable method currently.
But as you know, the SEO landscape is always changing, like the introduction of AI recently.

Hi @doomain and welcome to UKBF.

Not sure guest posting (or even link building) is very effective anymore. As you say, SEO is changing and the emphasis has moved towards EAT.

Thanks! Backlinks are still one of the top ranking factors, that didn't change since the start of Google.

Not sure you are correct. Google has been pushing links down the ladder for a while. On-site is now far more important. And Google has warned about using guest posting for SEO.

The reason why links have become less important is because people were building links for SEO. Which is not what Google wants.
