Heating up industrial unit

Hi all, we recently moved into a new unit. It already has gas central heating radiators on one side of the building but 3 radiators does not heat up the entire unit. It's an open space with office space and warehouse.

I am looking at solutions to heat up the entire space.

Any suggestions on how to upgrade the 2000sqft unit. What's cheapest and most affective to run. Or is it better to stick another 3 radiators on the other side piped up to the boiler that's in use now.

Thanks

Are you looking to heat the air or the people? If the people then infrared will be cheaper to run (obviously install where the workers are). Gas heater produce condensation so be mindful of dampness if you go down the gas route - maybe best to get a heating engineer to visit and advise as every case is different, good luck

As above, get some heating designers out for free advice, a lot depends on how much you need to heat, how often, heat loss, height of building, heating the air or just keeping people warm.

Infra red heaters linked to PIR’s to switch them on and off when someone goes into an infrequently used area are far cheaper than heating a complete warehouse. The same applies to lighting, why have the lights on if no one is actually there? Such advice is normally free.
