Looking for something that is monoaural, wireless (bluetooth?) that will work with our Snom D712 phones? But also perhaps be able to link up to both our mobile phones and our laptop? If this is possible?

We use Voipfone as our phone provider

Or should we ditch the Snom D712 and use Softphone App's? And just control everything from the laptop/mobile? @cjd any thoughts on this? Softphone would be brilliant for us as we could just click on numbers in our CRM and Google contacts to dial out but we can't have physical and Softphone (yet anyway)

If it cannot be linked to 3 devices we need something to use for voice to text typing using our laptop (Windows 11) Perhaps we should buy a separate USB microphone for this? Any recommendations? I don't want it to pick up other people's voices hence why I'm thinking an external mic (perhaps desk based or wireless?)

I use a Plantronics Voyager Focus, although mine is stereo. It has a directional mic, so it doesn't pick up other people's voices.

It just appears in Windows as another sound device and microphone, so you just need to tell whichever bit of software you're using which devices you wish to use.

I use it with Teams, but you should be able to use most voip clients.

Too many options to type - also, I'm not as up to date as the support guys, it would be best if you called us and go through the options.

I had rang them, they suggested to stay with the physical phone for stability and that the dual option is the pipeline but no date as yet...

I need to buy a snom EHS and then can use pretty much any headset option.

The mic relates more to voice to text for dictation purposes.

I'm wondering if there is one that does all and would work with my mobile. Would also be good to call out...

I guess thinking about it, switching to soft phone app may be even easier and run everything from the PC. And then divert to mobile if the laptop is off....

It's more of a general office equipment query I feel
