Hi everyone, has anyone ever used listmycompany.co.uk before? Are they legit? They promise to list your company website in over 200 business directories which would be handy (even if it is just for backlinks - seo etc), but I wonder whether they'll keep pestering me with emails and phone calls to try and sell something. There doesn't seem to be an awful lot of information on their own website and there are no (good or bad) reviews for them on sites like trustpilot etc.

I'd appreciate any feedback or experience you've had with them or similar companies. Thanks!

Complete waste of time. Don't even bother filling in the form.

Only registered on 25 Jan, no contact details and using cheap shared hosting. As you suggest, they are probably just going to sell on your details and spam you with marketing emails.

15,000 happy customers on a week old site! Don't think so somehow.

Put them in the junk folder.

I haven’t personally used them, but I’d definitely be cautious, especially if there’s little to no information or reviews available. A company promising to list your business in 200 directories sounds useful in theory, but the quality of those directories matters more than the quantity. If they’re low-quality or spammy, it could actually hurt your SEO rather than help it. If you’re mainly looking for backlinks, it might be worth checking where they’re listing businesses before signing up. Also, companies like this do have a habit of persistent follow-ups, so if you do go ahead, I’d use a business email you don’t mind getting sales pitches in. Have you considered using a service like BrightLocal or manually listing your business on high-authority directories? Might take more effort but could be a safer bet long term.

I see lots of threads on here about the value of backings, but can't comment.
Not worth the effort. Almost all directory links are worthless.
